The courtyard at the headquarters of Iris Acqua (Ice Water Company) in Italy is a renovation project. The original flower beds are easily overlooked, and the dull plants make people unwilling to pass through them. Based on a limited cost budget, the designer chose
A588 weathering steel as the main material, which is not only cheap, but also durable and beautiful.
The inspiration for the updated venue is derived from the combination of vegetation, garden plants and A588 weathering steel, which greatly enhances the visual effect. Flower beds and broken lines, round center fountains and curved railings ensure the garden's observability. The choice of perennial plants (such as Cortaderia and Sedum) not only guarantees limited demand for maintenance, but also guarantees the seasonality of the environment.
