The case is located in Finland. In the first phase of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Metro Expansion Project, the western route connecting Helsinki Ruoholahti and Espoo Matinkyla was put into operation on November 18, 2017. The West Line will transport more than 170,000 visitors a day. The appearance of the old copper plate finish, gray granite and weathering steel plate together constitute the material tone of the building on the ground. The low ceiling is made of weather resistant steel. It visually connects all the public areas in the station, while echoing the surrounding red brick buildings in color.
