The Ukrainian design studio Sergey Makhno Architects built a weather-resistant steel building deep in the forest, and the rusted appearance seemed to be the lost world that was forgotten by everyone. The large-area floor-to-ceiling windows and the entire glass ceiling make the three-story residential house with good lighting, and allow the natural scenery to penetrate into the home space without any contradiction. The elements of steel, glass and light constitute the main body of the building. The old appearance is actually derived from its building weathering steel. This material will form a fine rust layer on the surface after several years of outdoor exposure, and no need to apply paint protection, thus making the building form a special pattern.
