The Yarlung Zangbo River Bridge in Tibet is an important control project for the Lalin Railway of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway. It is a key project in the “District Road No. 1 Road” in Tibet, and the main road to the Gongga Airport in Lhasa. The Yarlung Zangbo River Bridge is a Class I two-track railway with a design speed of 160 km/h. Upon completion, it will become China's first paint-free weather-resistant railway steel bridge. It will also be the largest concrete-filled steel tube arch bridge in China.
