On February 21, 2012, the G-Star RAW Hong Kong flagship store was grandly opened. The G-Star RAW Hong Kong flagship store has a six-story façade design that uses the overlapping tempered steel that has never been used in the local area to create a see-through “rust” effect, which is especially striking with the specially designed G-Star RAW pattern. In the daytime, this weathering steel raw material has a sharp contrast with the surrounding concrete buildings; at night, the built-in lighting design of the exterior wall transforms the flagship store into a large lantern, and the super strong presence makes it the latest landmark of the influx.
