Andre Kikoski Architect Architects designed a weathering steel landscape building for the Wacov Exchange, consisting of
corten steel facades and corten steel electric doors. This building is a live music and performance area in the Bushwick district of Brooklyn, New York.
The exterior of this building is a very original design, relying on electric door technology remodeled from hangars and factory buildings.
5 pairs of mobile facades exhibit a constantly changing functional structure and building structure.
During the day, the facade panels are folded up to serve as a canopy for the store, providing shade for pedestrians.
At night, they act as a protective door to protect the store, while the gradient laser perforation on the semi-hidden LED lights makes this facade look as if it is glowing from the interior-an urban-scale piece of art.
