On the morning of September 16, 2019, the groundbreaking ceremony for the opening of the 1580 cubic blast furnace of Ningxia Iron and Steel Group, which was undertaken by Beijing Shougang International Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., was held. Cao Guangjiang, Chairman of Ningxia Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd., and Li Yang, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group and the leader of the Group, participated in the groundbreaking ceremony. Also attending the ceremony were Ningxia Iron and Steel Group's 61-year-old generation of meritorious builders and employee representatives totaling more than 200 people.
