"Niushoushan Cultural Tourism Zone is trying to find a balance between modern tourism needs and ancient Buddhist traditions, leading visitors to a profound experience with the spirit of Zen, and creating a quiet welcome area for visitors.
The
corten steel design interprets the Buddhist culture and philosophy, presenting a carefully crafted park area, so that visitors can deeply experience the life of Niushou Mountain-its culture, historical attractions and magnificent mountain views. Landscape elements and functional arrangements promote low environmental impact tourism and a lifestyle in harmony with nature.
Entering the quiet plaza in the core area of the park, visitors will be guided through a series of Zen gardens under the guidance of the interpretive characteristic steel element (corten steel), passing through a series of spaces in turn. The design of the steel elements conforms to the constantly changing topography of the site.
Weathering steel that symbolizes the scrolls of Buddhist scriptures runs through the landscape.
One of the forms of weathering steel reels is the water structure of the "Dingjingtai Trail" in the square, which reflects the ever-changing landscape of Niushou Mountain.
Observation decks, promenades and rest spots will be placed in the natural environment. At the same time, green plants will also minimize visual and environmental impacts to protect these landscapes for future generations.
